Band Biography's

Phil p. is Bono

NEW BONO details to be added soon.

John K. is Larry Mullin Jr.

John K. (Drums): I became a fan of U2 after hearing the "Joshua Tree" album and seeing U2 when they played the Lovetown tour in Dublin's Point Depot in 1989. I've been playing the drums since I was sixteen and started a band while still at school with Mark and Derek D. (My cousins), and soon after met Derek P. who became the lead singer. The band was called Exit, after the song on the Joshua Tree album, (later changed to Shifting Sands) and were together from 1990-1998.

In 2002 I began playing drums again briefly in another U2 tribute band and after that I spent some time in Germany playing open mike sessions with other musicians and joining an original German band called Psycho Cowboy. Returning home I played briefly with Mark accompanying him with his own material. In May 2004 I set up the "U2 Walk On" pub crawl and ran it through the summer months. The pub crawl is on hiatus during the Winter and will return next Summer ('06) with a name change. When the pub crawl was coming to a close both Derek P. and myself were thinking of starting a new U2 Tribute band and eventually joined forces... Thus VERTIGO was created.

Mark D. is Adam Clayton

Mark D. (Bass): Mark has been a fan of U2 since they began. He has been in several bands, including Shifting Sands (formerly Exit) with brother Derek D. and cousin John, and also Derek P..

Mark lived in the United States for several years. During his stay there, and also when he got home, he wrote some of his own material and played in several Dublin bars. He still likes to write songs and also writes some comedic material with his brother Derek. Now he has formed his new band, North Star mission with his brother Derek and John. His myspace is www.myspace.com/northstarmission.

Brian M. is The Edge.

Brian M. (Guitar): Brian first saw U2 in 1989 in the Point Depot and started playing guitar several days later. Since then he has spent most of his time perfecting his playing of every song U2 ever recorded.

He has played with his friends bands over the years and recently completed a music technology course enabling him to pursue his home studio recording of original music.
